Bob Windish

With over 40 years of experience in lawn, tree, and shrub care, “Bob” is a respected leader in the green industry. After working for two different lawn care companies early in his career, Bob founded Fairway Green, Inc. with a vision of providing superior service and care to his own customers. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted name known for expertise, innovation, and exceptional customer service.

Bob holds a degree in Renewable Natural Resources from the University of Connecticut and has dedicated his career to advancing education and advocacy within the green industry. For 25 years, he has served on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Green Industry Council, spending the past 15 years as Treasurer. In this role, he actively works to shape industry-related legislation in New Jersey.

His leadership extends nationally, having served on the Board of Directors for the Professional Lawn Care Association of America and as an advisor to the Bayer Lawn Care Institute. As a mentor in the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ Trailblazers program, Bob has guided small and startup business owners in the lawn and landscaping industry. Additionally, he collaborates with agricultural product manufacturers to test pest control solutions before they reach the market.

Bob is a licensed Commercial Applicator in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, specializing in turf, ornamental, and mosquito control. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fly fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
